For the
time being it lives on the top of the bookcase in my work room to remind me not
to lose track of what I want to be doing. Thank you.

Pay it forward
Last
Thursday I received this in the mail. It came from Robyn as part of 'Pay it Forward'. It is beautiful. It
arrived at the end of a rotten three weeks and really cheered me up.

A Pause
There has
been a pause in creativity, or any other any interesting activity, here for a
while
Three weeks
ago we were informed that OFSTED were coming to visit (College inspectors-for
those of you outside the UK) A team of 8 were coming in a fortnight and would
stay a week. This translates into two weeks and weekends of preparation,
intensive paperwork and learning of statistics and mission statements etc
anticipating questions. Than a week of walking on eggshells not knowing if or
when they were going to come into your lesson to observe.
However it
is done. The weather is glorious. Real life can resume again

Pay It Forward.
One of the
things I like about the web is the ability to make connections with people
across the globe, the idea of being able to share ideas and techniques and to
have a ‘conversation’ with like minded people whom I probably won’t get the
opportunity to meet in person.
I also like the idea of sharing not
only thoughts and images but also, on a small scale, pieces of ‘real’ work. Which
is why I responded to a post on rObfOs ‘s blog
on ‘Pay It Forward’.
If you want to join in this is how it
works. (It’s a bit like pyramid selling in reverse)
If you leave a comment here I will send
the first three people a small handmade gift via snail mail (and post
links to those three bloggers). They will then put a post up about Pay It
Forward (with a link back to my blog) and will also send on to three more
people small handmade gifts via snail mail etc.etc
