More Experiments

Yet more experiments with this block,  a mixture of viscosity and relief rolling and overprinting coloured monoprints with collagraph.

First printing

The plate is finally finished and sealed. At the moment I’m experimenting with different viscosity and colours of ink and with different methods of inking.

Straightforward intaglio, single colour

Viscosity inking, the problem with this is I don’t have a hard and a soft roller big enough to cover the plate in one pass which makes the print a bit streaky

Intaglio inking plus a relief roll

Intaglio inking with two colours plus a relief roll. I do like this last one
