Honesty

I've been exploring the Honesty seed heads, shape, colour, how they attach to the stem and the way the outer layers peel away from the inner membrane to release the seeds.

I've experimented with making paper,

and with embossing.

And with printing using drypoint,

and etching.

    1. Glad you like them. I knew that the two hideous decorative oval embroidery frames that I was hoarding would come in use one day. I'm wondering what other stuff I can recycle with paper making.

  2. The paper ovals look great Jac and I love the idea of the latent life in the dried plant. Lucky me - I'm in group 10!

    1. I'm on a roll experimenting with paper, embossing and printing. And I'm pondering how to structure it. The only thing is keeping focused enough to bring both books in on deadline, especially when the new term starts.
