When I cut
and assembled the book I realised that the pages were too busy to take text
well so I decided to let the book dictate the direction and this version is
just patterned.
I used a red
thread for the closure as a hint of colour and a reference to the Chinese influence
on my original idea.

ReplyDeleteNot set of identical books - the monoprint is too hit and miss for that - but I will be revisiting the structure. I want to print some sheets that aren't so highly patterned so I can experiment with introducing

What a success that is Jac. I love that this grew out of trying to work out how to use the circle cutter. The grey with that touch of red thread is brilliant.
